Talent and conditions of its use

I have learned that I am good at helping myself find out what is it that I value the most. This constitutes an objective worthy of my highest pursuit.

After thinking about how long it will take for it to be accomplished, I fix time and allocate other necessary provisions for its attainment.

 I then deposit money in my friend's account, so that such money will be taken by my friend if the objective is not achieved as detailed in a small contractual paper.

Of course, emergencies can happen, they have be to documented and evidenced. In the absence of this, I generally don't accomplish tasks. This much I have learned.

Silent communications and intention

All of is communicate to one another silently. I think this is so because I noted numerous cases where conversation suggested prior communication.

Information communicated includes concrete as well as more abstract information. This Information pertains to needs and aspirations so that business may be conducted. I also suspect this information is more of honest because it it is sort of things deeply held of concretely manifested.

Some are good at decoding more concrete information, others more abstract information. Either way the instrument used to gather such information is perception, sensation or intuition.

Such communication is generally unconscious but people are able to decode such information by talking about sort of things suggested to them. For instance, one may hear write this sentence or that sentence or talk to this person or that person and so on. Or hear say this to this person or to that person and so on.

Free experimentation on what has been suggested reveals what has been communicated but only after experimentation.

In my experience such experimentation regardless whether one succeeds or not leaves positive impact on the individual. One sleeps better and develops more confidence on himself or herself. It is as if the universe rewards honest attempts to attain legitimate ends both in market and social settings, as well as elsewhere.

I Incline towards feeling as opposed towards thinking, hence towards, ideally speaking, too much kindness as opposed too much toughness. I generally practice toughness to hit the middle road, but then I supervise myself to decide which side shall I incline towards.

The same applies also to staying within instead of going out, to intuiting instead of sensing as well as probing for options instead of judging.

It is clear to me now that this method of working with opposite tendencies to orient yourself is really it. I shall, therefore, work with this system, known as in some circles, as the dialectical system. It is able to map the dualistic world and yet do the same for the world that transcends.

The self that we are after could be seen as the self that transcends the dualistic nature of existence and subsequently takes the middle path, that is neither this or that, but both and more.

Choice and decisions.

I have noticed that I am inclined to make no choices because of endless reasons.

Even when I make a choice, I change my mind, given slightest reason to do so.


Because of this I am not able to plan, rehearse and perform great acts in view of getting great ends. I must have been admitted to the less successful class of people who make no choices as long as they can and when they make one, they change it when they find slightest reason to do so. The opposite case is more successful class of people who make decisions quickly and they don't change it and if they do, they do it slowly.


Having noted this phenomena, I chose to, always, place myself in situations where I have no choice but one.

Inductive Logic and personal insights.

That which is clear to you is specific to you, that which is by nature clear is general not specific.

So the movement is from specific to general. This kind of movement whose aim is to gain universal clarity from specific clarity is known as inductive logic or reasoning.

It is contrasted with deductive reasoning, which operates in opposite fashion, from general to specifics.

Inductive logic is an instrument of learning, or an organon, as ancients used to say, to refer to all kinds of logic.


Plato used to say are we from the principle or to the principle?

Feeling and Values

Abstract (intuition) values as opposed concrete (sensing) values may be hypothesized to be areas where intuitive feelers excel. Sensing feelers may be the opposite. If so, idealists, and feeling types In general, would be better judges of people's values, especially that which is most valuable to them.

So, one skill that they can harness is helping people find what they value the most. This generally happens when people are most excited as they speak. That which accompanies excitement is that which people most value. The greater the excitement, the more valuable that thing is to relevant folks. So it is a matter of catching people when they are most excited.

That which is chosen is that which excites people the most. Success from here, partly depends on decisiveness and partly on the rest, such as diplomacy, strategy, tactics and provisions.

From Intuitive feeler's point view, inductive logic is applied to the excitement to arrive that which is clear by nature, a universal conclusion that most people would agree with.

Persistent solution to perceiver's challenges

Study how long a task would take to get it done.

Do this estimation carefully. The estimation work Itself ought to be timed and if not done on time, one ought lose something.

Sometimes, you may not feel like doing this or that, but still make a choice or lose money.

A perceiver, therefore, has to dwell in this or that state to be really be successful, otherwise he or she will suffer from the effects of indecisiveness.

That is what would happen any way. You are losing time and time is money, opportunity cost of not making of a choice, a good choice that is.

It is better to rest well and be prepared for work, but doing so itself requires discipline: do it or lose it.

Sometimes, it is small thing, like failing to turn on the heat and thus sleep without a heat. As a result, the quality of the sleep might be too poor to support long productive day. So, create a rule: if I fail to create necessary conditions for a quality sleep, then I will lose this.


The tendency of the perceivers is to postpone decisions as much as they can, no decision seems to be their motto. This tendency is lost when one gets out of samadhi or fana and then it gradually comes back.

The opposite tendency is to explore no options, but choose one possibility and then hang on to it, despite the availability of other options that are better than the one chosen.


I believe perceivers are less likely to finish a task unless there is no option but to finish it. Why wait until you reach this point: place yourself in situations where you have no option but to finish a relevant task.

I now recall a friend of mine who told me long time ago that this basic principle of leaving no option to himself but a task he chose, has changed his life in ways he lacks terms and time to enumerate.


Once he makes a choice, be gets to work.
He has, therefore, adopted this dualistic view of life, either this or that, from logical point of view it cannot be this or that at the same time and in the same respect.

This is known as the law of excluding the middle.Doing so one gains clarity.

Tough kindness

Some people are friendly by their very nature.

They are predisposed to feel rather than think.

Others are very strong, they are able to withstand adverse conditions and expect others to do so.

These people generally tend to think rather than feel. Most women fall in the previous category, whereas most men fall in the latter category. This is stereotypical view, but there is some empirical evidence to back it up.

But there is some women who think, and some men who feel. In any case, a feelers ought to cultivate strength and thinkers kindness.


Ideal cases, which actually don't exist but then help us understand things better, a feeler would be too kind, and a thinker too cruel.


The reason is thinkers tend to be without sensation, anesthesia, and feeling types are their opposites, they tend to be sensitive, some of them too sensitive.

A feeler therefore ought to learn to be tough and thinker ought to learn to be kind.

If one succeeds along this path, one becomes tough kind, or kindly tough. I think this is one of paths that end suffering and afford us the state in which we are all familiar with when we see it, that carefree state of a child, or pastoral nomad who just ended a long day, empty: there is nothing going on with him, serene and beautiful.

Perceivers and Development

Perceivers, people whose last four letters ends in P, in Myers Briggs type indicator, are predisposed to inaction, resulting from paralysis analysis. Such paralysis of analysis also results from lack of firm starting point.

For intuitive types, people whose second letter is N, the cause of paralysis of analysis, in part, is lack of inspiration or Intuitive insight.

For sensing types it is a absence of a fact or facts.

Some perceiving types suffer because they allow in their head to blamed without good reason. They don't stand for themselves. Their ego or reflective awareness becomes weaker so that a blaming self takes over and torments them.

This could easily be solved by focussing first on staring points. If they are not valid, the discussion ends. If valid discussion ensues that relies on feeling or reason and prudence, leading to a conclusion, followed by action or inaction. The discussion is over for now.

Expectation and Momentum

Expectation or hope is is different from preparation. Hence the famous saying: hope the best but prepare for the worst. Hope just as despair is self-fulfilling. Intuitive types generally expect, whereas sensing types observe.

One, also, craves for inspiration, another for enjoyment according to Myers, in their book, Gifts Differing.

You see now why expectation is life defining feature for intuitive types . They expect because they focus on potentialities or possibilities rather than on actualities or realities, hence their expectant orientation towards life. It has to be positive or optimistic to benefit from self-fulfiling prophecies or from law of attraction.

Sensing types ought to learn this virtue from their cousins.

The universe also appears to gives us more of what we expect, provided we put efforts forward and continue to do so.
Experiment.

This is the law of impetus or momentum or its variation.

They are in danger of endless discovery to solve new challenges. Of course, some professions require constant discovery, counseling and technology, being among them.

When I am in public places, I know my state, thecondition that I am in, but this is not the case when I am at home. I know not myself.I use the public, therefore, as feedback mechanism. I actually imagine being atthe stage meditating, for instance, a sort of meditation competition of who canget to samadhi or fana faster and stay there, in front of people to see whatworks and what does not and then do more of what works.

Simple Solution to Indecisiveness

Some people predisposed to probe for options than choose one. In personality typology this is known as perceivers. Their four letter words ends with P. In any case, people with judging predispositions are inclined or prefer to make choices and move on rather than probe for options, and possibly suffer from paralysis of analysis, but people with J preference are more so in danger of haste decisions than people with perceiving preference.

One solution to the challenges faced by people with perceiving preference is to set up time and say I will do this task in this period, the period has to be reasonable, or I will lose this amount of money, say twenty dollars to a task that takes less than 30 minutes, and actually lose it by giving it to someone.

Make this your modus operandi to resolve the challenge of perception.

We can imagine the same solution with people of J preference, in their case the challenge to be solved is judgment not perception. So, they ought to say, I have to come up with more options, even if I borrow from others, to choose from in this time frame or I ought to lose this amount of valuable stuff. This gives structural solution to a recurring problem.

On the basis of Keirsey Temperament Sorter, I am able to know what people are good at, or at least what interests them or excites them,and what is not.

More importantly, I noted, knowing one’s own ways ofperceiving and judging persons and objects is useful in living and living well.The sorter will be able to help you on that regard.

I am professionally certified to administer the above mentioned sorter and I have university degree in psychology and philosophy, and years of self-study and self-practice.

I am also good at, using mind mapping, and other tools, helping people find out what they need or want and then find strategy, general plan of action, and tactics, shorter plan of action, and then allocate provisions for their attainment.

For the next two weeks, I will offer free consultations and free lectures, so as to talk about how this instrument is useful for kinds of purposes, extending from learning, finding a major, finding a career, dating, participating politics to religious practices.  I will try to achieve this by using both social media and other pertinant means.

I will also ask people who benefited from the sorter to write testimonials.

I will also create business cards, brochures and long articles regarding on what I do and how I do it and how much I charge it.

I will also join professional associations involved in similar activities.

Intuition and Momentum

There is some silent imitator in me that pays attention to what I do and then after some repetition does it for me without my awareness.

Intuition is all about speed. Intuitive types intuit stuff in less than a second. If they practice to experiment that hunch or thesis or way, then they start to enjoy the practice and thus develop their intuitive facility.

One ought to be aware what he or she repeatedly does in the early hours of the day, for it exerts an influence on the rest of the day, just as newly cemented floor retains imprints imprinted upon when it wet. It is not influenced by later imprints imprinted upon it when it became dry. The same is true for hot metal: you can shape it when it is hot, not when it is not. I think the psyche has some hot moments after which is becomes dry.

Contemplation

Contemplation is, one has defined it, thinking on what you admire. This is one of my favorite activity. Using personality type indicators, I was able to note conditions, under which I am able to contemplate well on both desirable ends and their means of attainment. This has sparked in me in helping others do the same.

I have combined two well known methods of focusing; belly breathing and walking. This is another favorite pastime that I have finally managed to get hold of it. And as usual, I like to know how this new found hobby can be turned into an income generating source?

Know Thyself

Stage to some people is state that evokes their best. They are able to choose an end that they really want to achieve, find an effective or even efficient way to attain it and then implement the way. This is not so when they are not on the stage. So, if they imagine, then it works.

The judge of such people is an outsider, that is he or she works only on outside matters and suspends judgment on internal matters, he maintains non-interventionist position on such matters.


If it so happens the person in question is an introverted intuitive, someone who has a lot of internally generated ideas, then he will not judge these ideas so long as these ideas remain inside his or her head.

Knowing this idea, relevant person will immensely benefit from it, and thus will significantly improve his planning and implementation ideas and practices to the extent one may gradually become more effective or even more efficient person.

Helping people learn themselves better is one way C can better himself too.

Talent and Civilization

I have noticed that many students In colleges and universities are not sure about what to major. I did the same thing while I was undergraduate.

I have helped number of students using Keirsey Temperament Sorter in which I am professionally certified to administer and interpret, get some general ideas on what their talents are and what majors demand their use on frequent basis. You know what happens when talent is used, it becomes better, after all practice practice, people say, makes you perfect.

The notion that one has an aptitude or something he is suited for to do and should one do that, one has better chance of living and living well, is as old as human civilization itself, labor division. Plato thought, in the republic, this will solve the crisis In the Hellenic world.

Hindus did the same, the caste system. It was originally meant to be talent based phenomena, as Bhagavad Gita verse confirms, and it developed, unfortunately into something else.


I said to myself, why have I not pursued this with more vigor ? I will In due time.

C is inclined to carry thorough deliberation, to come up with a general strategy and implement them, he ought to master the art of being decisive. He can perfect this art by practicing ten minute or so minutes decisions. A decision is necessary for be development of strategy and its implementation.

New proposal for C to earn a living from his talent.


I have not yet proposed a plan that will allow C to earn living from his talent. So, I once again promise this time $150 to come up with a plan before 15th of this month, 11:00 pm, EST. 

If I don't propose a general plan that will allow C to earn living from his talent before the stated time, you can ask me and I will give you $150. Many of you did not do this in the past, so I cannot count on you.

To ensure this money is given out, I will contract this time a close friend of mine, to ask for the money if general proposal is not submitted on the stated time.

If the proposal is submitted, I will daily report what I did to implement the plan; again, if I don't do this, I will also pay $30 daily to whoever asks for it at 9: 30 am, EST.

Great sleep is essential for quality work

I am convinced that sleep is absolutely critical for working productively during the day. If one sleeps well, one will be able to get a lot of work done, otherwise, he will not. I cannot stress this point enough. For me, I need 7.5 hours of sleep to lead very productive day, and productive night to those who sleep during the day.
 

What to do when I wake up in the middle of the night?

Some people wake up in the middle of the night and they have hard time sleeping again, yet if they stay awake, which they are inclined to do so at this time, they will feel a little bit tired during the day and at some point during the day sleep will come to them forcefully and they cannot resist it. It may so happen that they are working at this time or doing something else.

So they find themselves in situations where they want to sleep but they cannot and when they don't want to sleep, they are forced to sleep. A paradox.

A simple straightforward solution is to resist sleep by drinking caffeine or exercising or doing whatever you can to stay awake throughout the day. Now, when you go to bed, you will not wake up again, if you do, repeat the process. It will be uphill battle, but it will work eventually.

You may also drink freshly squeezed orange juice and some water.

It also helps If you meditate or read an inspiring book, such as holy scriptures, or whatever book of your preference. You may also work on some project that may fulfill some of your needs and aspirations.

Another simple straightforward solution is to go back go sleep right away. This moment may represent cycles of sleep changing, from deep sleep to light sleep. This happens after 4.5 hours to five hours. This light sleep period is when we dream. A person who does not get the dream, misses a lot, that there is compulsion, I think, to sleep during the day.

I am convinced that sleep is absolutely critical for working productively during the day.

Sometimes, I am able to do a great work; I decided to do most of my work at this time. If I do, I generally do a great work. It is very clear how C can benefit from this.

How to Maintain Great Sleep Schedule

I feel strong desire to sleep when I don't want to sleep, someone asked, and I pfail to sleep when I want to sleep, please help.

1- Find out how many hours you need in order to work well during the day. I need 8 hours or so I think.
2-Fix wake up time, that you don't change.
3- In case you miss some hours, manage to sleep early and not later than your wake up time. Most people do this because it is easy, but it messes up the schedule.
4- Stay awake and fight sleep to maintain this schedule, eventually your body will get it and it will start to respect this schedule.
5- Cases where sleeping early is not possible, sleep other times to compensate needed hours and no more.

Interpretation of Dreams

Dreams, says Joseph Campbell, are private myths, whereas myths are public dreams.

To him religion was great myth, by myth he did not mean lies, as some people do, it is just story or set of stories that are designed to explain and guide.

Large class of phenomena face ironic challenge. They are perceived as lies or fables, animal stories designed to entertain kids, not even grown ups, and thus does not merit serious attention in this age of scientific triumph.

Religion and myths fall into this category, at least in the West and even in some parts of the East. This challenge is an old one, for which reason religious folks have dedicated bulk of their work overcoming this challenge, urging their adherents to have faith and they will come to know in due time that they have chosen the best path or one of the best paths.

Skeptics, however, will not be satisfied, so more philosophical answer is to show why this way of life is great If you choose to lead so. This answer no longer answers to the skeptic, but answers to the person who made the choice to lead this kind of life, by showing him that he has made a great choice.

Primary motivation leading one to appreciate stories, especially those of religious character, is joy or the satisfaction of the psyche: one becomes deeply happy with the guidance and the explanation the story offers. If, therefore, happiness is the aim of life, then one finds one more resource to script himself, for the purpose of attaining happiness.

Generally speaking, dreams are potential solutions to problems that you are having now in your waking life.

For a long time, I have been studying interpretations of dreams. I have also practiced with my own dreams and solved many challenges, which otherwise would have remained unsolved.
