Editing Habit, June 27th, 2013

0800-0830 Stay on the bed and remain motionless, waked up tired.
0830-0900 Wrote about Somalia
0900-0930 Wrote my daily journals
0930-10000
Continue to write on my daily journals.
1000-1030
Prepared myself to start work.
1030-1100
I noted that I have developed a bad habit. Edit and then suspect that you I have not edited well and then repeat. I, therefore, decided to re-edit what I edited yesterday, start from page 15 to 32.
I have edited only one page during this period.
1100-1130
I have edited two pages. I chose to focus this time, like mother focuses as she tries to protect her child from a tiger. She has only on thought in her mind, protect the child. The same applies to me: edit the page.
1130-1200
I have edited this time word by word. I have edited two pages.
1200-1230
I have learned this period that word by word editing while not breathing is one way to edit with only editing in mind. Other wise, while you are editing, you may think of something else, and then miss editing the word.
12:301300 I am now in 23rd page out of 32 pages.
1300-1330 I am now in 22nd page. I took 15 minutes break, and then I came back.
1330-1400 I have finished page 23.
1400-1430 I have finished page 24.
1430-1500 I have finished page 25 and 26.
1500-1530, I edited again page pages 2-26. I think I daydreamed while editing, and thus missed some. It is almost difficult to stop thoughts while editing, except when you are not breathing. Not breathing means, noting is going in your head except editing.
1530-1630 break.
1630-1700; I am now editing page 29
1700-1730 I have finished page 29 and then re-edited earlier pages.
1730-1800 The last page needs extensive editing, I will do that tomorrow morning, when I am energized.
1800-1830 Took a 20 minute break.
1830-1900 Re-started the first 15 pages to edit one more last time.
1900-1930 I am now in the third page, beginning from the first page.
1930-2000, I have not edited the fifth page.
2000-2030 I am now in the 8th page.
I have worked at this time more than 10 hours. I stop.
2030-2330
I have done some important work at this time, and some nonsense activities. I shall log these 30 minutes in the future.
2330-0800 I slept. The first I felt too tired to sleep, for sometime and woke up while rested.
